Tell us what you need and we roast it under your brand. Numero Uno has roasted in St Peters for 24 years, under our own name and quietly under other people's. Yours could be next.

A few minutes. Volume, roast profile, packaging, timeline. Enough for Gina to quote you properly.
We talk it through, in person or on a call. A straight answer on fit, price and timing from the person who roasts it.
We roast to spec and send a sample. Cup it, approve it, or adjust. Nothing is locked until the cup is right.
Roasted to profile on schedule, packaged under your brand, ready for pickup or delivery. Scale as you grow.
You bring the brand. We handle the roast. Prices are per kilo of roasted coffee. Gina confirms exact rates against your volume and spec.
You supply the green beans. We roast to your specification.
We source the green beans, roast, and package under your brand.
From scratch, with Gina, until the cup is exactly what you had in mind.
You could. There are good roasters around. But a name off a search result will not tell you whether they hold your profile on the third order, pick up the phone when something moves, or have room for you when your brand starts to sell.
Numero Uno has roasted in St Peters since 2001. Every bag is roasted in-house on our Brambati drum, by the team that has been doing it for over twenty years. Nothing is outsourced or batched off-site.
You deal with Gina, not an account manager. Australia's Coffee Woman of the Year, co-founder of the International Women's Coffee Alliance here, and the person who signs off your roast.
ContractRoasting.Coffee is an initiative of Numero Uno Coffee Roasters. When you enquire here, you are talking to the roastery direct, not a marketplace taking a cut in the middle.
That means one price, one standard, and one person accountable for your coffee. We keep our contract list small on purpose, so every client gets the attention a larger operation cannot give.
And we are discreet. We do not publish who we roast for. Your customers see your brand on the bag, never ours.
Every order roasted in St Peters on our own Brambati drum, never outsourced or batched off-site.
We take on a limited number of contract clients each quarter so quality and attention never slip.
White-label by default. We stay behind the scenes so the story on the bag is yours.
Everything is roasted to spec on our Brambati drum in St Peters. Come in, cup with Gina, and watch your coffee roast before you commit. We would rather you saw the operation in person than took our word for it.
Numero Uno has roasted in Sydney since before the industry had a name for it. Three signature house blends, six direct-traded single origins, and a profile held batch after batch. That kind of consistency is not accidental.
Launch under your own brand with zero capital expenditure on production. No $50k roaster, no premises.
Your own house blend. Your bags on the counter, your blend in the hopper, without the overhead.
Consistent, high-quality roasted coffee every week. Reliable production you do not have to manage.
At capacity, need a backup, or entering a new region. A second pair of hands without starting over.
Shelf-ready coffee for supermarkets, grocers and corporate clients. Volume, compliant labelling, consistency.
You sell, install, service or repair coffee gear. Add your own roasted coffee as a consistent new line of income alongside the machines.
Not sure where you fit?
We roast for cafes, retailers and coffee brands across NSW. Some you'd recognise, most you'd never know were ours. That's the point. When the bag says your name, it should feel like you roasted it.
“We needed someone who could hold a profile at volume without us having to check every batch. Three years in, we've never had to.”
I've spent 24 years in this roastery. In that time I've worked with cafe owners who had nothing more than a rough idea and a good palate, and watched them build something their regulars genuinely love.
Contract roasting isn't complicated when you're working with someone who takes it seriously. I take on a small number of new clients each quarter because I want to be across every roast personally.
If you're ready to have the conversation, I'd love to have you in for a cup.
A few minutes to tell us what you need. Gina comes back with a quote and a time to cup.
